Other Animals

You can use these buttons to see all the other animals we have.

We have an almost constant supply (unfortunately!) of rabbits, and often ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice and/or rats of various kinds and ages, and occasionally others such as chinchillas. We occasionally have birds of different sorts too.

Cutchie and Psycho
Age: 2-3 years Breed: Ferret Gender: Female Cutchie and Phycho two female ferrets who came into our care as strays. Cutchie is very sweet and is lovely to handle. She is under two years old. Phycho is about three years old and, although was unsettled when she initially came into our care, is now as easy to handle as Cutchie. They have become great friends and live and play together all the time so we would love to find them a home together.

Dinedor
Age: 2 years Breed: Ferret Gender: Male Dinedor is a young unneutered male ferret who has been with his fosterer for several months and has settled well. He was probably a stray for a while as he was quite thin and covered with ticks. He is easy to handle and would be able to live with other ferrets given patience and time.

Jewson
Age: 1 year Breed: Ferret Gender: Male Jewson is so called because he walked into the store with the same name in Leominster a few months ago! An owner has not come forward for him so he is now looking for a new home. He is a young unneutered ferret who is very easy to handle. Ducks
Age: Not Known Breed: Runner Ducks Gender: Male 3 young male runner ducks which have proved too amorous for the girls in their flock. They will need plenty of space and secure housing for overnight protection. They are not in RSPCA care, so please contact their owner direct. Ring Gaynor Powell on 01874 665369

Vince and Rachel
Age: 2 years Breed: Vince-Albino, Rachel- Domestic Gender: Male and Female Vince is an albino stray of about 2 years old. Rachel is about the same age and came into our care after being rescued from poor living conditions by a member of the public. They are a lovely pair of rabbits who get on extremely well and are both able to be picked up easily. Rachel is a little overweight but is losing this with regular exercise. They both love attention and are very keen on green cabbage leaves! We would love to find them a caring home together.
Peppa
Age: 6-12 months Breed: Guinea Pig Gender: Male Peppa came into our care because of his owners change of circumstances. He is a one year old neutered guinea pig, black with a small beige streak on his back. He is used to living as a house guinea pig. Peppa is very friendly and easy to handle. As Peppa has now been neutered, we would love to find him a home with another/other female guinea pigs for company.
Martha
Age: 4 years Breed: Dwarf rabbit Gender: Female Martha is a 4 year old neutered female dwarf rabbit. She is very friendly and tame and used to being handled. She needs a good sized hutch and run and would enjoy the company of a small neutered male rabbit.
